Bastille Opera House
Unmistakably modern and popular, the Opéra Bastille features transparent facades designed by Uruguayan-Canadian architect Carlos Ott. This temple to classical and modern ballet and opera houses a 1,200 m² main auditorium with a 2,745-seat capacity, a 500-seat amphitheatre, as well as unique stage equipment, work and rehearsal rooms.
Good to know: it's only possible to discover the Opéra Bastille on a guided tour from September to July.

This "modern and popular" opera house can be distinguised by its transparent facades, designed by the Canadian-Uruguayan architect Carlos Ott. Designed for ballet and modern and classic opera performances, this temple comprises one main auditorium which seats 2745 spectators, a theatre seating 500 people as well as unique scenery equipment and rehearsal theatres.
Please note : guided tours of the Bastille Opera House are available from September to July only.
